A Young Artist: First Place

Please join me in congratulating clearing's middle daughter on her recent FIRST PLACE AWARD for this drawing!!! *the publishers should use this book jacket immediately!* *don't miss the Tolkien-esque language at the borders! is that Hobbit-speak?*

I'm sure your Mom, Dad and sisters are proud of you!

I am, too!

It's beautiful, C.

Ahhhhhh. Thank you M. We are so proud of her. She has some certain things to overcome in life and little things like this library reward and your *bragging on her* really encourages a 12 year old.

Wow! That is a gorgeous picture especially the color combination and beautiful muting. And yes I do believe that is Hobbit-speak along the borders: a language that I spoke long ago. Congratulations!
I'm sure that there will be a lot more to follow.
