Ah yes, the winter doldrums. And with all this rain we've been having in our corner of the world, all that grey is really wearing out its welcome. I so look forward to some color and pretty flowers again. Sigh.

Would you believe, the trees on my frong lawn are budding already? Nothing like spring in January.

I was given a few sprigs of mimosa today, at the Vive la France! exhibition (Provence-Côte d'Azur stand): it means 'spring' to me. It's already there, on the Riviera. We'll have to wait a bit longer here, in Londinium.
