Have you read Sarah Vowell's Take the Cannoli? I can't relate, but it did make me understand the appeal of the movie as a life metaphor.
(Whoa, the type the word thingie, very cool. I hadn't seen that yet. Neat. I hate these spamments, but I hate the idea of not letting non-Blogger registered people comment more. That's a very innovative way to weed out spamments.)
