Hmmm... am I the only person in the world who thought it was sad but hardly an earth-shattering event? I loved the Beatles as a whole - separately they never really interested me. But I've learnt an awful lot about John Lennon in the past two days (things I used to know, I expect, but had forgotten), since it's been wall to wall programmes about him on the radio and the TV here. I'm afraid they haven't made me like him better. Sorry.
