I think they were trying to do some fab 60s play on the French Revolution. You can bet the sans culottes never looked that good!

Jean Shrimpton has always been lovely. She's also a shrewd business woman. She owns a hotel somewhere in England (or Wales, drat, can't remember where). One can stay there and spend one's time looking out for her. I'm told she hardly ever makes an appearance, unfortunately. It's exquisitely furnished: I've seen photos.
