my occasional musings on life, love, art, perfume ... what else is there?

State of Mind

Have no idea whether this is any good ... it just captures the feeling I currently have of THERE IS TOO MUCH TO DO AND NOT ENOUGH TIME IN WHICH TO DO IT.

I'm sure my equilibrium will soon be reestablished. Please check back.

*And now that I'm looking more closely at the CD cover, I'm hoping he isn't doing anything illicit. That better be a vitamin.*

I don't know the exploding Caesar dude. I'm sure it's got to be illegal, what ever type of *vitamin* that is.

Time is short.
Be here now.

Frayed, insipid expressions..are all I can think of right now...because

...time has run out...

Don't worry. You'll catch up with your own tail soon.

Breathe. Will any of it matter next year? If so, then tend to it. If not, why bother?

It is a vitamin B compound, I am just sure of it.
And stuff either gets done or gets on without the doing of it.

Here's to equilibrium!

Are you sure, Ariella? It looks like a tiny crack pipe.

Be well, Mireille. Equilibrium is over-rated. That's why I keep one foot in my mouth at all times.

I've given up any hope of even skimming the surface of what I have to do, what I'd like to do.

Do what TLP says (always do what TLP says), "Breathe!"

I suggest you just chuck your casebooks and read the barbri outlines. Or exercise a lot. Or drink too much. Or dance, that's what I did, 2 hrs a day every day for the whole 3 years. It got me through.
Take Care!

Does it make you feel any better if I tell you a secret? My New Year's resolution is to actually do one complete thing every day.

Yesterday my one thing was to take an old computer down to the bins to be collected. This computer is so old it took 15 minutes to fire up. I already have another desktop computer and a backup laptop. This task took 10 minutes. I did it while my pizza was in the oven.

I have been meaning and wanting to do that for over a year.

Today my one thing was to make up 4 boxes I got from IKEA and put a pile of old videos into them. That took a bit longer - around 40 minutes. I bought those boxes 2 months ago and have been stepping over them ever since.

Tomorrow the task is to put the box of Xmas wrapping paper into a high cupboard, which I've not been doing because it means taking out a ladder.

If I decide to try to do 2 things per day, I panic and do neither. So - whatever you are managing to do in your days, it's got to be better than me!

Oh M, exactly what everyone said, first of all breathe. But secondly I think that Lulu is really on to something here and I actually wrote something about it on Bela's blog after reading your comment regarding strips of paper. This is exactly what I'm going to do in order to just focus and feel some sort of accomplishment. You should try that also. And if that doesn't work, then yes I do think you should dance.
