my occasional musings on life, love, art, perfume ... what else is there?

The (Scented) Haunting

Don't know about you, but I don't want to get trapped alone in a dark parfumerie with Charlotte Rampling.

I think she'd have no hesitation about impaling you on a sharp shard from an emptied bottle ...

... rather than let you have that last bottle of Caron Or et Noir.

I had to google Charlotte Rampling. I do recognize the face. Don't remember seeing her in a film.

So I should be afraid?

Oh, my. Be very afraid. I'm going to empty out The Missus' perfume bottles. I don't want her to get any ideas.

I have always thought that Charlotte Rampling is SO cool. I first saw her in Zardoz--not sure I'm spelling it right--an old cult movie. The most recent time I saw her was in a movie called The Pool--or The Swimming Pool--she was a best-selling author in the mystery-thriller genre in that movie. Very intriguing:)
She was quite the dish when she was young--oolala.

I saw her recently on the stage: thought she should stick to films, where close-ups of her (still beautiful) face can make up for any acting deficiencies. Her beauty has always surpassed her acting talent.

LOL! I think she can look cold and scary. However, as J mentioned above her beauty certainly surpasses her talent in acting. :)

I kind of do want to get trapped in a dark parfumerie with Charlotte Rampling. I'm courageous that way.
