Remember in early grade school, giving out the little postcard valentines? Every child would have an open bag taped to their desk as a sort of mailbox and everyone walked about "delivering" the cards...*sigh*
And a big mwah to you too. When I was a kid my father once gave me a giant chocolate rabbit for V day. I couldn't bear to eat it. I thought there was a real rabbit inside. Then my brother broke it's head off. I had a traumatic childhood.
Tea recommendation, yes indeed. If you find yourself in Shoreline/Lake Forest Park area there is the Village Yarn and Tea Shoppe on Ballinger. They have a web site http://www.villageyarnandtea.com/
and I LOVE their Dreamzicle blend, and the Pear Green, and they now have Creme Brulee, mmmmmm So very good.
I'm way ahead of you. I mailed my giri-choco to my husband last week- express, complete with early opening discouraging stickers.
This is, however, the first year of my adult life that my mother has not sent me a valentine's day package of socks. (Warm heart, cold feet my mother) Guess she finally figured out I have a "boyfriend" and don't need consolation packages from my mother. The PEZ was a nice thouch though.

Already mailed most of them, grown ups don't get enough V day cards.
BTW, are you a tea drinker?

Thanks for the reminder, Mireille. I had the day off yesterday, so The Missus and I went out for lunch. (We pretended it was the 14th.)
For the big day -- lots of hugs, kisses, and a flower or two. Or three...
